ARTS FOR LEARNING WNY PARTNERS WITH VARIOUS ORGANIZATIONS TO BRING FREE ARTS PROGRAMMING TO THE COMM

Arts for Learning WNY (formerly Young Audiences of Western New York) is pleased to partner with various libraries throughout Erie and Niagara county to bring free public arts workshops to the community!


The Clarence Public Library is hosting an "Art Day" filled Art Day programming. This day of family fun is free and open for all to attend, to register please call (716) 741-2650.


The schedule of art activities includes:

  • Reading is Magic with Teaching Artist Ted Baumhauer: Saturday, March 4th, 10:30 AM

  • Fun-Damentals: Balloon Art with Teaching Artist Janice Spagnola: Saturday, March 4th, 1:00 PM

  • Collage Creation with Teaching Artist Christy Zucarelli: Saturday, March 4th, 3:00 PM

These programs were funded with support from the Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo Daniel C. and Beatrice M. Fisher Fund.



Thanks to the support of the Grigg Lewis Foundation, several Niagara County Public Libraries will also host free art activities that are open to the public!


The North Tonawanda Public Library schedule of events includes:

  • Echoes of Africa with Teaching Artist Ringo Brill: Saturday, March 4th, 1:00 PM

  • Kids Yoga with Teaching Artist Gaitrie Subryan: Saturday, March 11th, 3:00 PM

  • Collage Creation with Teaching Artist Christy Zucarelli: Saturday, March 18th, 1:00 PM

  • Reuse, Reduce, Reimagine with Teaching Artist Cass Agreros: Saturday, March 25th, 1:00 PM

The Niagara Falls Public Library schedule of events includes:

  • Paper Pins with Teaching Artist Christy Zucarelli: Monday, March 6th, 6:00 PM

  • The Art of Stress Management with Teaching Artist Jalen Law: March 11th, 1:00 PM

  • Book Arts with Teaching Artist Laura Chenault: Saturday, March 18th, 1:00 PM

  • Erie Canal Performance with Teaching Artists The Hill Brothers: Monday, March 20th, 6:00 PM

The Lockport Public Library schedule of events includes:

  • Reduce, Reimagine with Teaching Artist Cass Agreros, Saturday, March 18th, 2:30 PM
