In-School Programming
Academic Enrichment Supporting Your Classroom
Educational partners seeking In-School Programming can select from three levels of engagement:
Single Workshops, Residencies, or Whole-School Partnership
While many programs can be delivered in a single session, others are a better fit for multi-session residencies to allow students to complete extended projects and/or expand on material. Individual workshops may be paired together to form longer workshops.
SINGLE WORKSHOPS
Arts for Learning workshops allow students to work closely with professional artists in an interactive, hands-on environment.
Programs are 45 minutes and can be offered as back-to-back (repeating) workshops to serve more than one classroom.
Workshops can also be added to follow an assembly program, reinforcing its content. Inspire student writing projects through creative journaling projects or explore the local history of the Erie Canal and Underground Railroad; the possibilities are endless.
RESIDENCIES
A residency is a series of three or more days with an artist, allowing for high level, in-depth work.
Residency content is often customized based on curriculum needs and each residency includes a planning meeting with the artist.
Residencies can span weeks, months or an entire school year to meet your budget and curriculum needs. We can help you to design a residency that will engage your students with a professional artist, and bring learning to life.
WHOLE-SCHOOL PARTNERSHIP
Our Whole-School Partnership Initiative represents the highest degree of ongoing collaboration and partnership.
The goal of the Whole-School Partnership is to impact as many students as possible in a given district or building.
This in-depth partnership is offered by application or through community partnerships rather than typical public booking.

Out-of-School Programming
Building Community through Creative Engagement
Community partners interested in bringing our programs to their audiences may book programs as individual events or as multi-session series.
Community series allow us to market events efficiency and effectively and ensure that partnerships recieve the attention and recognition they deserve. Our flexible and diverse program offerings make it simple to plan and schedule a series that your community will enjoy!
INDIVIDUAL EVENTS
Many of our Out-of-School workshops are perfect for individual events!
Teaching Artists introduce an art form or topic, lead young learners in highly interactive activities and creative explorations, and send families away with exciting new strategies for at-home artistry.
These easy-to-schedule stand-alone events are perfect for introducing your community to totally new programming, returning to crowd favorites, or filling gaps in your programming schedule.
MULTI-SESSION SERIES
Interested in delivering a sustained scheduled of Arts for Learning programming to your audience and community? Consider establishing a multi-session series!
Many of the programs in our catalogue are marked as multi-session selections. Programs with this designation involve a Teaching Artist presenting multiple sessions on similar topics, often building on each previous session.
Interested in presenting a series that features a variety of programs and Teaching Artists? Combine individual events and/or existing multi-session workshops to create a series that supports your audience's needs and interests!
Assemblies & Performances
Set Creativity Center Stage
Assemblies & Performances present a unique opportunity to bring creative arts programming to audiences in schools OR in the community.
Presented by our roster of Performing Artists, these programs can be delivered during assembly times during the school day or in a variety of community settings.
While these programs are distinct from the hands-on workshops presented by our Teaching Artists, they offer an opportunity to present young audiences with interactive, high-energy performances.
PERFORMANCES
Consider adding a performance or assembly to your programming!
Our performances are a popular option for scheduling exciting and interactive programming both in schools and in the community.
With diverse options ranging from interactive dance parties and immersive story theatre to balloon twisting fun and incredible live music from around the world, there is a performance for every occasion.
