Become a Master Teaching Artist! 

A Master Teaching Artist is a special designation from Arts for Learning WNY to artists across the region to recognize their dedication to continued education and expertise in both traditional educational principles and their art form.

Participants in the Master Teaching Artist Training Program will complete at least 15 hours of specialized professional learning and receive the following benefits:

  • Connect with a cohort of like-minded individuals
  • Be poised for increased opportunities as a paid Teaching Artist
  • Practice new skills from local and national experts in the field
  • Learn how to more successfully connect with youth and make an impact
  • All participants will receive a digital and printed workbook filled with additional tools and references and references provided by Arts for Learning and the expert workshop leaders

Registration Information:

  • Open to current teaching artists, practicing artists interested in teaching artistry, educators, and administrators
  • Up to 20 participants are accepted each year
  • Applicants from across WNY are welcome to apply
  • Join for the full series, or sign up to claim one of the limited spots available for single sessions
