This book arts program will teach young artists the skills of this historical art and craft form. Confidence is built as skills are introduced as foundation leading up to more complex projects. Books and zines by BIPOC, LGBTQI+, and disabled artists will be brought to share to emphasize independent publishing and how creating books can raise marginalized voices.
