Taste of the Arts 2023
An evening of art, food and drink, and community!

Dance & Drum Performance by the African American Cultural Center

More than mere entertainment, The African American Cultural Center's Performing Company aims to celebrate history, convey traditions, and help to enlighten and unite communities. Each rhythm involves the values, customs and stories of African Culture. The AACC’s company focuses mainly on Traditional and contemporary West African influenced practices and choreography. Dances range from forms relating to and for rites of passage, hunting, and various celebrations and ceremonies to name a few.

We are thrilled that the African American Cultural Center will showcase a dance and drum performance at this year's Taste of the Arts!
