Join Master Teaching Artist Cassondra Argeros for My Culture, My Clay workshop at Springville Center for the Arts! Students will explore ceramic techniques. They will investigate the science of clay to pottery. They will gain the knowledge of multiple cultures in their community and explore their own heritage. Students will create an air-dry clay piece that can be painted at an additional session or on their own. Students will use knowledge of their families and themselves to guide the creation of the clay project. Having youth know their culture or heritage is helpful in creating something unique to themselves.
