About the event
Join Teaching Artist Cassondra Argeros for an immersive exploration of clay! Arts for Learning returns to South Park HS Family Resource Center this Fall to present a FREE "Intro to Clay" Residency!
Learn about the science of pottery, develop hand-building techniques, and explore decorative applications to create your very own visual autobiography! Social-emotional and academic lessons will be woven throughout to support self-expression, community building, and academic application.
Note: this event is the fifth in a series of workshops that form a 6-week residency. Attendance at every session is not required for participation in this residency. However, some projects will require the use of kiln, so ongoing participation is ideal to ensure that participants are able to collect and take home their art.
