Bringing the Arts Directly into Wyoming County Schools

Thanks to the generous support of the Conable Family Foundation, The Wyoming Foundation, and other committed donors, Arts for Learning WNY is able to bring high-quality arts programming directly into Wyoming County schools, completely free of charge.

Thanks to their support, every student - regardless of where they live or the economic challenges they face - can experience the transformative power of the arts. Through our Whole School Partnership Program, we bring the arts directly into daily instruction with multi-year residencies and professional development for educators.

Learn more about the impact of Arts for Learning WNY's Whole School Partnership program and how arts integrated programs can positively impact your school environment!

Since launching in 2018 with Letchworth and Perry Central School Districts, we have expanded to schools across the region, making arts integration a lasting part of school culture rather than a one-time experience, with programs tailored to fit each school’s grade levels, subjects, and schedules so creativity can be seamlessly woven into the curriculum.

Educators See The Impact Firsthand

“I want to thank Arts for Learning for providing an outstanding experience for my instrumental musicians at Letchworth Central School! The performance of Don Quixote by JoAnn Falletta and the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra was remarkable. The students loved it, and I did too! I am looking forward to more collaborations with Arts for Learning in the future. Thank you again, as well as to the donors for this generous gift.”

— Jason Decker, Music Teacher, Letchworth Central School District

“The Arts for Learning partnership has been something that I enjoyed immensely over the last two years. My students were so excited to learn from the Teaching Artists each week, and my educators learned new strategies they could implement into their own curriculum. This partnership allowed us to look at our curriculum in a whole new light.”

— Becky Belkota, Principal, Perry Jr/Sr High School

Through these partnerships, students explore new artistic techniques, build confidence, strengthen collaboration skills, and see connections between creativity and their academic learning. Our multi-year residencies allow arts integration to grow naturally into the school culture, giving both students and educators the time to see meaningful, lasting impact.

We are proud to work alongside schools, educators, and our funders to make these experiences possible.

If your school is interested in exploring a partnership or learning more about our programs, we welcome you to contact us to discuss options that fit your students and curriculum.
