In-School Programs

Together we will explore symmetry in our environment. Creating art together using found objects or nature - we will learn breathing techniques and make mandalas.

Students will gain a greater understanding of their role in the environmental health of our planet. Using recycled materials, they will have a hands-on mixed-media experience and leave with a completed project.

Dave the potter was an enslaved person in South Carolina in the early to mid 1800s, however he went beyond the limits of most enslaved people through his art. Students will examine David Drake's pottery and poetry and then make vessels
inspired by both. They will learn about an important historical figure, the ceramic process, and crafting words.

Plant to Plate is an art-based program that connects creativity, nature, and sustainability through hands-on projects. Students begin by painting flower pots and planting seeds, learning about the journey from plant to plate while nurturing their own growing plants.
