About the event: In celebration of the Erie Canal Bicentennial, Arts For Learning WNY presents The Erie Canal Traveling Museum at Canalside!

The Traveling Museum brings the Erie Canal to life, and directly into the hands of young learners. Artifacts gathered and collected over decades from the early 1800’s – 1900’s are put directly into the hands of participants to examine, explore, and question as they learn about the development and impact of the Erie Canal on New York State.

Join Teaching Artists Melissa Kate and Kristin Brandt for this hands-on activity that everyone is sure to enjoy and learn from!
